2023 PWQA Barbecue Roundup

Thank you to everyone who came out to the PWQA Barbecue Roundup event yesterday! There were about 100 people from member and non-member companies who attended. Shannon Murphy, our Board Member was amazing with his easy-to-understand delivery of his topic on forever chemicals. He spoke about PFAS, PFOS, PFOA, PTFE, and GenX in our water and environment, the removal of these forever chemicals from drinking water, and he touched on the future of how we are going to get rid of these chemicals from our water. The audience feedback was great. Thank you to Sid Korob for doing all of the cooking. Brats, chicken legs, seasoned chicken breasts, chicken breast kabobs, hamburgers, salmon burgers, and even grilled zucchini and yellow squash… amazing job, Sid! Thank you to Ms. Nadya Bahena, Field Representative for Assemblymember Freddie Rodriguez, 53rd District for attending and addressing the attendees.

Thanks again for letting Impact Water Products host this event and sponsor the chiller rentals, grill, and anything else we could do. And, thank you to Pentair for supplying and flying in the Wisconsin Beer Brats, to Hydronix Water Technology for supplying the beverages, and to Hall’s Culligan Water for supplying the tables and chairs.
